X100P SE PCI Cards - No Longer Available
The X100P Special Edition (SE) has been withdrawn from our product range and is no longer available to purchase. For further information on why the X100P SE has been withdrawn please view the relevant news article.

For Novavox customers with X100P SE cards that are still within their 1 year warranty, in the event of a fault a replacement card or refund will still be provided.

For customers looking for a new low cost FXO card for Asterisk/Trixbox, we recommend the OpenVox A400P01 4-port PCI card which comes with a single FXO module. The OpenVox A400P01 card is more expensive than the X100P SE, but offers significant advantages including:

  • Support for UK caller ID and global line standards straight out of the box without needing to use any Asterisk / Zaptel patches
  • Easily upgradeable to support up to four FXO / FXS ports due to its modular design
  • Significant reduction in installation/configuration time due to not having to overcome IRQ sharing and motherboard interoperability issues
  • All OpenVox cards are officially Gold certified for use with Trixbox
  • All OpenVox cards come with a 5 year warranty as standard

Full details of the OpenVox A400P card can be found here.

X100P User/Installation Guides
To provide our customers with accurate information we have put together a number of documents to support X100Pcard installation. The information provided focuses on Asterisk® and Trixbox® but can be used to help install an X100P SE card in any Zaptel/Asterisk® based IP PBX system including AsteriskNOW®, Elastix® and PBX in a Flash. These documents include:

Novavox X100P PCI card Installation guide

Our X100P installation guide provides detailed step-by-step installation instructions that describe how to install an X100P FXO PCI card in an Open Source Linux based IP BPX system.

Novavox X100P UK Caller ID Setup Guide

X100P cards cannot be used to detect Caller ID (CID) using polarity reversal because the Zaptel wcfxo driver does not support this feature. Therefore, to support CID on BT lines in the UK we have put this guide together which uses a Zaptel/Asterisk® patch written by Tony Hoyle to store the CID in a history buffer. Please note: OpenVox cards like the A400P support UK Caller ID as standard and therefore a patch is not required.

Novavox X100P Global Line Standards Setup Guide

Unlike the original Digium® X100P and some of the low cost X100P clone cards available, the X100P Special Edition (SE) supports global line standards. The setup guide we have put together provides instructions on configuring global line standards including complex impedance for UK/Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Please note: OpenVox cards like the A400P support Global Line Stanadards as standard and therefore a patch is not required.

X100P Technical Installation Issues
If you experience any issues installing your X100P SE card then please refer to our PCI Card Troubleshooting Guide in the first instance as it provides solutions for the most common installation issues.
